Prepare for an impactful career in healthcare.

At Beloit College, you won’t just learn about nursing — you’ll live it. With a variety of clinical experiences and hands-on learning in real healthcare settings, you’ll build the skills to make a meaningful impact in the field. In just four years, you’ll earn two bachelor’s degrees and be fully prepared for a career as a registered nurse (RN), in flexible, personalized program within the supportive Beloit community.

How it works

Studies show that multidisciplinary learners are in high demand in healthcare and tend to have more successful careers. This dual-degree program begins with a 3-year bachelor of arts or sciences (BA or BS) degree from Beloit College, where you’ll study humanities and sciences — biology, psychology, languages, and philosophy — building a strong foundation for a healthcare career.

In your fourth year, you’ll complete a 12-month bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program on Beloit’s campus through a  partnership with Edgewood College. Hands-on simulation and clinical experiences in Beloit and the greater region will equip you with the skills to become a standout nurse.

Students work together in a cell biology lab session.

What does this mean for your career?

The Beloit College experience will give you a holistic approach to medicine, which will make you a better practitioner and stronger job candidate. And the BSN will give you a leg up financially and professionally in your healthcare journey.

Excited to make an impact

I am a Palestinian American who strives to become a doctor of nursing practice specializing in OB-GYN care. I am excited about the Nursing dual-degree program at Beloit because it will serve as a great launchpad for my career, offering a rigorous curriculum, extensive clinical experiences, and a supportive community that will help me reach my goals quickly.

I look forward to developing the skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in women’s health, particularly for underserved communities, and I know that Beloit’s commitment to excellence and hands-on training will empower me to achieve my dream.
